b) Research results

The research deliverables from the researcher's research activities include 88 refereed journal papers, 13 papers presented in refereed conferences, 1 presented in a work shop, 4 more publications under review or in the pipeline, 1 M. Sc. and 1 Ph. D theses. The researcher succeeded to get four funded projects from TWAS, BA/CSSP and STDF for developing transition metal oxynitrides as thin film decorative and as transparent conductive electrodes. Also, he succeeded to get twelve funded project from Deanship of Scientific research at Qassim University. Throughout the first four projects he has built “New materials Lab.” including a very vapor transport system, a very good circuit for electrical measurement, one high temperature controlled furnace for melting elements, one fully controlled furnace for heat treatment of the samples and UV source for UV illumination of the samples. In the near future a gas sensor test system, a solar simulator for solar cells characterizations will be purchased from the newly funded STDF projects.
